Job Summary:

The Security Lead position provides supervision and leadership to the Mountain Security Department. Mountain Security is primarily a guest service department that provides a variety of loss prevention, fire and life safety, and access control services 

 

Job Specifications:

  • Expected Pay Range: $22.00 - $24.00 / hour
  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time, Winter Seasonal
  • Skill Level: Lead

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supervision of all security officers in the performance of their duties
  • Supervises all security activities and operations as outlined in the security training manual and performs training related activities
  • Monitors and supervises shrinkage throughout the resort, report safety hazards, unacceptable behavior, or suspicious persons to Security Supervisor
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest and employee situations, events and requests. These will not always fall within the scope of specific departmental responsibilities,
  • Perform patrols during assigned shifts in a manner that designated facilities are completely checked on a regular basis as a deterrent against any and all problems.
  • Be knowledgeable of other departments so as to be able to assist in assuring the maintenance and upkeep of facilities and equipment as related to security and safety issues,
  • Prepares necessary maintenance requests for safety-related maintenance requirements.
  • Be responsive to emergency situations and ensure that required notifications are completed,
  • Prepare coherent, legible and complete professional reports under existing guidelines,
  • Work with local public safety agencies to resolve various situations and concerns.
  • Be familiar with Communications Center operations,
  • Be available upon reasonable notice to patrol any shift,
  • Provide asset protection and escorts,
  • Follow department, mountain, and Corporate Policy and Procedures,
  • Must be able to work as a team,
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Job Requirements:

  • 2 years of security, law enforcement, military or emergency services,
  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience,
  • High School or GED,
  • Valid drivers license,
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications and email,
  • English - read, wr
