Job Description:
MKTG Sports + Entertainment is looking for a Senior Manager, Hospitality & Events, with a primary focus on global Formula One (F1) hospitality and large-scale sports hospitality programs. This role leads key elements of the strategy, planning, and execution of premium hosting programs for Fortune 500 clients.
This is a dynamic, client-facing role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. The Senior Manager plays a key role in bringing hospitality and event programs to life while serving as a trusted advisor to clients, properties, and vendors. You will report to the Senior Director, Hospitality & Events.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive professional with a strong understanding of the Formula 1 ecosystem to support our team in a fast‑paced, globally connected environment. This role requires exceptional communication skills, the ability to manage complex workflows, and comfort operating within the unique demands of motorsport culture. The ideal candidate brings operational excellence, adaptability, and proven experience guiding others or operating in a leadership capacity. Because this role supports a key client based in Miami, the candidate must be located in or near South Florida and be able to travel to the client’s Miami office once per week.
Key Responsibilities
Lead elements of planning and execution of premium hospitality and hosting programs aligned to client marketing goals
Act as a primary client lead on assigned programs, independently managing client communications and meetings
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, properties, and vendors
Coordinate venues, hotels, suppliers, and contracts
Manage event logistics including run of show, guest communications, transportation, AV, F&B, décor, and signage
Oversee guest experience elements such as invitations, gifting, and onsite hospitality
Manage and monitor program budgets, proactively identifying and addressing financial considerations
Draft and manage scopes of work, including staffing and resource recommendations
Lead onsite staffing plans and provide onsite event leadership
Collaborate cross‑functionally with finance, creative, and production teams
Contribute to proposals and program recommendations
Identify opportunities to improve programs and drive efficiencies
Mentor junior team members and help shape effective team workflows
Manage 1–2 full‑time staff, in addition to client account teams of varying size
Required Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a similar role
5 years of experience in events, hospitality, or experiential marketing
Agency experience or Formula One experience required (ideally both)
Fluent Spanish required; Portuguese a plus
Experience with VIP or corporate hospitality programs
Strong vendor management, budgeting, and project management skills
Excellent communication and client service skills
Willingness to travel and work non‑traditional hours (~25–30%)
Comfortable assisting with physical event setup and breakdown when needed.
Ability to travel to the client’s Miami office once per week; candidates must be based in or near Miami/South Florida area.
