The Genesys Global Security, Privacy & Compliance COE (Centre of Excellence) team is made up of Security/Privacy/Compliance experts with the skills to provide expert services in support of all key stakeholders (Genesys Sales, Presales, Customers, Partners, Prospects, external consultants etc.). The team is the single point of contact for all security, privacy & compliance related filed engagements. The team sits within the Genesys Cloud business unit.
Responsiblites:
You will be a security subject matter expert for all security, privacy & compliance field engagements for designated region(s), projects, opportunities/accounts.
Join and participate in engagements with partners, prospects, customers and internal teams for subjects relating to security, privacy & compliance discussions, this may include explaining security, privacy and compliance policies, controls and processes for Genesys solutions.
Be responsible for product security/privacy/compliance questions, consulting engagements for our prospects, customers, and partners as assigned..
Contribute to customer requested security audits/assessments; collaborate will other global & regional teams for timely completion of these requests as assigned.
You will work to enable our Genesys teams, and partners, ensuring a solid foundation of security understanding is established and that they have the skills needed to be successful.
Assist global COE team by owning other global security, privacy & compliance engagements for other regions as/if required.
Our team DNA is innovation; every team member is also required to contribute to ongoing internal team global projects which are key to our scalability and success. (For example, creation of vertical, country, or regional compliances, documentations, presentations, demos, and best practices)

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, OR equivalent industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP)
Experience with cloud-native solutions built on AWS microservices.
Knowledge of cybersecurity, networking, and application security technologies, including firewalls, OAuth, SAML, etc.
Strong empathy and passion for delivering exceptional support.
Flexible, collaborative, and willing to travel on short notice
Detail-oriented and highly disciplined to meet deadlines.
Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information for diverse audiences.
Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to dynamic environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
SaaS industry experience, particularly in customer experience or contact center technologies.
Prior hands-on experience with Genesys products in operational, professional services, or presales roles.
Expertise in security, privacy, or compliance verticals (e.g., finance, healthcare).
