Job Description
AECOM is seeking an Architecture Discipline Lead to be based in our Glen Allen, VA office.
The Architecture Discipline Lead will lead our Sports Market sector and will be responsible for the following items:
- Will act as the local expert on providing technical leadership in a specialty area, often for a district
- Keeps informed of new developments and requirements affecting the organization for the purpose of recommending changes in programs and applications
- Interprets, organizes, executes and coordinates assignments
- Makes decisions independently on technical problems and methods, and represents the organization in conferences to resolve important questions and to plan and coordinate work
- Applies advanced or state-of-the-art knowledge and experience to resolve crucial issues and/or unique conditions
- Will utilize their knowledge and expertise gained from progressing experience in the sports market to lead teams to deliver high end products to our clients
- Supervision received is essentially administrative, with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS in Architecture plus ten (10) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive sports industry knowledge and able to provide leadership in sports projects and business development
- Fifteen (15) years of experience working on collegiate and professional sports related facilities and buildings
- Interprets, organizes, executes and coordinates assignments in a timely fashion
- Makes decisions independently on technical problems and methods, and represents the organization in conferences to resolve important questions and to plan and coordinate work

Offered rate of compensation (Virginia locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $165,000 - $180,000.
