Summary

The Senior Director of Information Technology Services (ITS) is the enterprise technology leader responsible for defining and executing the enterprise technology strategy.  This role is accountable for enterprise systems and architecture, infrastructure, data, analytics, IT service delivery, and technology modernization.  The Senior Director collaborates with executive leadership to ensure technology investments deliver measurable business value, operational resilience, regulatory compliance, and long-term scalability in a complex utility environment. This position leads Director-level technology teams and acts as a trusted advisor on innovation, risk, and enterprise priorities.  The Senior Director, ITS

ensures technology initiatives support business performance, financial stewardship, and customer outcomes through effective governance and leadership.

What You'll Do

  • Defines and leads a multi-year enterprise IT strategy aligned with organizational strategy and capital planning. Ensures that IT department strategies and processes provide appropriate support to company-wide goals.
  • Serves as the principal technology advisor to executive leadership and governing bodies. Advises executive leadership on technology risk posture and mitigation strategies.
  • Partners with key business stakeholders to understand their needs and identify opportunities for technology-driven innovation.  Translates business priorities into scalable, secure, and resilient technology solutions.
  • Oversees the development, implementation, and maintenance of information systems and technology infrastructure.
  • Provides leadership and direction to the IT department and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Manages budgets and resources effectively to ensure the delivery of technology solutions that meet the needs of the business.
  • Stays up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies and evaluate their potential impact on the organization.
  • Ensures the availability, performance, and scalability of IT systems and infrastructure to support business operations.
  • Provides executive sponsorship for major enterprise initiatives including ERP modernization and digital transformation.
