Senior Business Systems Analyst

Researches opportunities and designs business systems solutions and recommendations for achieving operational goals. Expected to have a thorough understanding of our products and administrative systems as well as being an expert in programming concepts or relevant regulations. Instrumental in implementation of solutions in complex situations. You will report to the Operations Manager.

 

What you do:

 

• Researches and analyzes advanced business systems opportunities and develops recommendations to improve accuracy, efficiency and compliance through collaboration with other technical areas.
• Manages the design and development of complex applications and/or models essential to successfully delivering on operational obligations. Ensures quality control process is satisfied within team.
• Monitors regulations, new product offerings and changes to existing product for impacts to business systems team responsibilities.
• Assists with training and development of individuals. Senior reviewer of other’s work.
• Participates in key initiatives and special projects as assigned.
• Documentation of processes, analysis performed and business systems built or modified.

           

What you bring:

 

• 4+ years of experience required, relevant technical and/or business experience
• Four-year degree required, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field; or specialized training or equivalent work experience
• Licensing/Certification/Other, Advanced technical skills in the areas of: Insurance product features and mechanics; Programming concepts; Knowledge of ACORD standards; Microsoft Excel functionality including Visual Basic for Applications; Relevant regulations
