POSITION OVERVIEW

The Vice President will support a wide range of Treasury functions for the insurance business.  The successful VP must manage responsibilities in a fast-paced environment for multiple legal entities while supporting initiatives to enhance the existing functions to meet the rapidly changing needs of the business.

• Manage and enhance the daily cash forecast
• Manage and enhance daily liquidity reporting to senior management
• Lead and develop talent supporting the forecast and liquidity reporting
• Collaborate with internal parties to ensure accuracy in forecast data
• Work with key stakeholders internally to develop new reporting
• Approve internal fundings and external payments to third parties
• Expand connectivity between Kyriba and Global Atlantic’s banking partners
• Participate in company-wide initiatives/projects to improve processes and infrastructure including workflow automation, liquidity reporting, and variance analysis
• Prepare and present materials to Senior Management and external counterparties

QUALIFICATIONS

• Undergraduate degree required with a minimum of 10 years work experience in a Financial Services Role
• Knowledge of treasury systems (i.e. Kyriba or other banking platforms) is a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint and Visio
• Proactively addresses issues that may impact outcome of initiatives
• Prior experience implementing financial controls in compliance with SOX a strong plus
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple responsibilities
• Ability to identify, communicate, and resolve key issues
• Positive attitude even when faced with difficult obstacles, issues or challenges
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commercial mind set with an entrepreneurial spirit

The annual base salary range provided in this posting for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country.  Base pay is just one component of Global Atlantic’s total compensation package for employees and at times we hire outside the boundaries of the salary range.
