Purpose
The Clinical Applications Manager provides leadership, guidance and supervision to the Clinical Systems Applications team and is responsible for specific tasks associated with the planning, implementation, and successful execution of the clinical application systems at Neighborcare Health. This role is responsible for designing appropriate organizational team structures; work assignments; and training plans. The Clinical Applications Manager will ensure proper alignment of projects to organizational goals; and assign responsibilities to team members by matching resources with the required skill sets necessary to support both project initiatives and production support. This role will work closely with leadership across the organization to ensure that user requests, clinical standards, and compliance requirements are considered in the course of defining project plans, implementation of upgrades, and other activities associated with adopting or maintaining clinical systems.

Compensation:
- The target wage range for this position is $114,920.00 up to $137,103.20 maximum.
- Final offers are individually based on various factors, including skill set, years of experience, location, qualifications, work schedule and other job-related reasons.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides leadership and coordination of work to the Clinical Systems Application team. Responsible for clinical system adoption and results.
- Provides management and execution of enterprise projects throughout the project lifecycle. Creates and executes a roadmap for deliverables based on requirements, projects, and support functions, including training.
- Collaborates closely with the IT team to manage all clinical applications in the portfolio. Represent Neighborcare in strategic meetings with clinical application vendors and partners and works closely with vendors to ensure successful performance of products, including risk mitigation strategies and fixing problems.
- Develops clinical application strategies in collaboration with leaders in the organization and other Neighborcare functional teams. Develops and analyzes metrics associated with application performance.
- Acts as a business relationship manager among stakeholders to provide project definition, process leadership, timeframe, cost, delivery, issue resolution, risk mitigation and status communication.

KEY SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES
Required for this job:
- Strong understanding of clinical workflow principals and concepts and how they are integrated into the in EPIC Electronic Health Record system
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
- Skill in the use of computers, preferably in a Windows/Microsoft-based environment Ability to develop and maintain record keeping systems and procedures. Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
- Ability to assist, advise, and train clinicians and/or other professional staff in usage of clinical applications.
- In-depth knowledge of clinical protocols, procedures, and standards.
- Ability to apply critical thinking to business and technical problems.
Preferred for this job:
- Epic experience
- Project Management experience.
EDUCTION
Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, MIS or related field or equivalent.
Years of Relevant Experience Required:
- 8-years related work experience, including at least five (5) years working with Electronic Health Records.
- 3-years experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
