Job Description

SEAKR Engineering has an immediate opportunity for an Associate Materials Planner to join our team. In this role, you will support planning, analysis, and execution activities associated with material demand throughout the program lifecycle. Planning is involved in every stage of a program, from demand initiation through disposition, shop order creation, and program closeout.

You will work cross-functionally with purchasing, program management, engineering, property, and fellow planners to ensure material availability aligns with program schedules. This is a critical role in supporting program success.

This role is well-suited for individuals early in their career who are looking to build a strong foundation in supply chain, operations, and program execution within the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities

- Initiate and maintain material demand throughout the program lifecycle
- Analyze and action demand to ensure supply aligns with program requirements
- Collaborate with program teams and buyers to identify material needs and track deliveries
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to support program execution
- Generate shop orders and provide updates on material status
- Perform reporting and standard planning tasks with a high degree of accuracy and consistency

Qualifications

Required

- Experience with ERP/MRP systems or demonstrated ability to quickly learn complex systems
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-starter with strong follow-through
- Adaptability and willingness to learn

Desired

- Experience in highly regulated industries such as aerospace or medical
- Familiarity with IFS or similar systems
- Degree completed or in progress in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field

Additional Information

Compensation: Base pay range is $26-33/hour , depending on qualifications. SEAKR has very rich medical, dental and vision insurance plans, along with a generous 401(k) retirement plan. In addition to base salary, employees are eligible for a year-end bonus. SEAKR offers a variety of paid leave, such as vacation, sick, bereavement, and FMLA.
