New Hire Bonus:

• Receive a bonus equal to 3% of your first year’s earnings after your one-year anniversary with MPP.

Job Summary:

Work in either Purchasing or Customer Service. Demonstrate strong knowledge of purchasing and sourcing concepts and principles to support the purchasing and materials functions. Interface between Customers, Suppliers and the internal divisions.

Schedule:

• 1st (Day) Shift: Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Obtaining daily production schedules and identifying the required raw materials for the quantity scheduled to run
• Locating the necessary raw materials, pulling them from their location and recording the transaction in the ERP system
• Packaging these items needed for production runs into a container/bag as a kit
• Moving packaged kits to their respective areas for production lines
• Operate a chop saw, sander, grinder, dynafile, XRF, etc.
• Form, clean, cold work, polish, and inspect product using fixtures, jigs, shop aids, etc. to meet requirements
• Follows written work instructions and tech cards.
• Must comply with all safety requirements.
• Maintains operator maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Keeps work area clean and free from debris

Work Environment:

• May be exposed to noise, dust, fumes, smoke (Not over OSHA Permissible Exposure Levels)
• Safety training and equipment are provided by MPP in accordance with applicable law, industry standards and company policy
• Occasionally lifts 25 – 45 #’s

Requirements

•  At least two years’ experience with Microsoft Outlook or applicable virtual communication platforms.
• One or more years direct experience with Excel
• One or more years with direct customer service experience 
• US Person Status
• Ability to read, write, speak English
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must pass pre-employment requirements, including background check and drug screen

Desired Characteristics:

• Experience with an enterprise resources planning (ERP) software 
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Excel and Word programs
• Manufacturing background preferred
• Provides excellent customer service
