Requirements

  • Financial Consolidation: Take ownership of the financial consolidation process for our global operations, ensuring accurate and timely consolidation of financial statements, and adherence to accounting standards.
  • Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a small team of finance controllers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Collaborate with the finance team to develop financial plans, forecasts, and budgets. Provide insightful financial analysis, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Internal Controls and Compliance: Establish and maintain strong internal control processes, ensuring compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory frameworks. Conduct regular reviews and implement necessary improvements.
  • Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow forecasting and working capital management to optimize liquidity and support business operations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executive management, auditors, and external partners. Communicate financial results, insights, and recommendations effectively.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance financial processes, systems, and tools to drive efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Mergers and Acquisitions: Provide financial due diligence support and assist in integrating financial systems and processes during acquisitions or mergers.

What would make you awesome

  • Previous experience leading and developing finance teams is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Familiarity with working in an international setting and managing multi-currency operations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide strategic financial insights.
  • Strong understanding of internal controls, compliance requirements, and risk management practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with fluency in English and Spanish. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
  • Autonomous and high level of initiative and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Demonstrate unquestionable integrity in every aspect of work and dealing with others; Consistently models desired behaviors and values established by the company; Respects diversity of perspective in discussions and demonstrates an inclusive style.
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm, willingness to learn is a must!

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards.
  • French is a plus.
