Senior manager/ Director to our Financial Services team in Helsinki!

Accenture’s Financial Services Strategy & Consulting practice is looking for a Senior Manager/ Director who will be a key contributor to the further expansion of our Finnish & Nordic presence in the Insurance industry.

Description of role and practice

In this role within Financial Services unit, you will work together with leading insurance companies in the Nordics to shape their strategy and business transformation and help them on their journey to stay relevant for their customers. Our Nordic practice works as one team to deliver best possible solutions to our Nordic clients. With a broad set of backgrounds and capabilities, our Financial Services team has expertise in for example core system transformations, value chain analysis, process optimization, property & casualty, and life & pensions business.

In the role you will:

• Act as an entrepreneur; shape, sell and deliver strategy and consulting services to our Finnish Insurance clients, both as stand-alone engagements and as part of larger business transformations including technology investments

• Engage independently & proactively with leadership at Finnish Insurance companies to build relations, originate work and deliver impact

• Grow and operate in the Finnish FS Strategy & Consulting team

• Be part of our Nordic Financial services management team, and contribute to developing the Nordic Financial services practice

• Work in multi-disciplinary teams, leading by example, being an entrepreneur, practitioner and business operator

• Develop and manage high-performing multidisciplinary teams, leading by example, actively mentoring others and contributing to performance management and recruitment activities

Job requirements

• Master’s degree with major in Economics or similar

• 8+ years of work experience within Consulting environment

• Demonstrated experience in Insurance industry market as an external advisor

• Demonstrated experience originating & selling consulting services

• Demonstrated experience working with large Insurance players in Finland and Nordics as well as having a solid personal network within these

• Experience with “Total enterprise transformation”, shaping transformation journeys from enterprise operating models and throughout the technology landscape

• Experience from data led transformation, experience creating customer value propositions linking Business Strategy to Technology enabled use cases and how these are realized through modern cloud platforms

• Execution & leadership; having managed towards & delivered on a balanced set of metrics including customer relationship, sales & profitability, people development and capability building. Experience managing client relationships

• Fluency in Finnish and English
