Sr. Channel Manager
• Customer Master Data:
o Create new customer set up in SAP and perform maintenance as required. (current process)
o Review and approve new customer set up and changes to ensure account distributor/agent relationship is maintained in SAP.
o Create/maintain account records and integrity in CRM
• Manage Distributor, Agent, VAR contracts:
o territory/account management, termination/addition/change management within documents, SAP, CRM, Sparta and commissioning systems.
o Review Agent contracts annually for commission/account changes
o Initiate contract renewals as needed (max 5 years)
o Manage channel additions or removal process and account changes across SAP, CRM, Sparta, Cloud Database systems.
• Support Management of NAM International Distributors as needed.
• Agent Commissions – payment reporting, commission tool integrity:
o Manage commission rates/categories within SAP
o Designate commissionable products within SAP
o Update as required when accounts, contracts and products change.
• Plan Annual Distributor Meeting
• Attend DAC meetings, Regional Meter schools, Exchange, TechAdvantage, Annual Distributor Meeting, Annual L+G Sales Meeting, etc.
• Assist with organizing agenda and internal presenters for Distributor User Group meetings
• Co-Chair Distributor Advisory Council, coordinated 4 annual meetings and agendas. Plan teams meetings as needed for monthly updates.
• Promotional funds and process: manage, guide and track all activity.
• Generate to close: meter/module third party opportunities
• Coordinate & Lead Monthly Distributor Call:
o Obtain content, recruit participants.
• Manage Distributor contacts, email addresses in Outlook Distribution list and Cloud Services Database.
• Initiate and assist reviews of Distributor Price sheets and publish and distribute as needed.
• Assist with Distributor Sales Plans and annual Business reviews
• Represent Distributor/Agent interest for all sales activities, NPI and product changes, Third Party sales processes.
• Control and manage Sales Sharepoint page and content
• Communicate new products and process related updates to distributors, agents and CAR’s.
• Communicate, train and support any incentive sales programs for Distributors
• Champion the Distributor/Agent network at all times.
Programs and Systems used:
• CRM – Customer Master, Meter/Modules 3rds opportunities
• SAP- Customer master, view orders, credit limits, various other sites
• Cloud Services Center – Update Distributor contacts and emails, generate reports to Distributor for CC/Emerge status.
• InSite – Manage Distributor Resources page
• Ethixbase – Register Agents, Due Diligence monitor,
• Power BI Reports – own customer list, Distributor Sales, Agent Sales
• Magellan – Meter Return Database: view returns, align Distributors and agents,
• Sparta – Assign number to be used for product configuration, and verify correct Agent is aligned.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree; preferably in business, engineering or computer science
• At least 3 - 5 years of relevant experience required
• A combination of education and experience may be considered.
Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to communicate value propositions to existing and/or prospective channel partners
• Ability to read, analyze, and understand technical information, financial reports, and legal documents
• Personal Computer knowledge
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
• Keyboard/typing skills
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
