Position Overview

Vantage is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Construction Cost & Finance Analyst to contribute to critical functions relating to Vantage’s finance and growth strategies. You will support broad company initiatives and interact with key internal and external stakeholders. You will work closely with our Construction teams across Europe, as well has interact with our wider Finance team and have visibility with members of our EMEA Executive Teams. Your duties will include business partnering our construction team cost and project leaders on a variety of EMEA datacenter projects, monthly reforecasts of project budgets, ad-hoc modelling, assisting in construction budget development and maintaining our construction cost database. The ideal candidate will be an autonomous self-starter who is capable of driving results and takes initiatives. You should have a professional-growth mindset and be willing to bring forth innovative ideas and methods that can benefit Vantage.

Duties

• Coordinate and participate in the preparation of various monthly financial reports, business plans and analysis for management.
• Facilitate and support an efficient and timely month end process.
• Update monthly project re-forecast document with actuals and latest cashflow.
• Support and provide relevant data and reports to facilitate effective monthly PM review.
• Support debt raising efforts in Europe by preparing relevant financial documents and analysis and supporting timely drawdown.
• Define, create, and maintain various databases related to projects and contracts in order to provide accurate and relevant data or analysis to top management.
• Contribute to, or drive, variance analysis between actuals and budget / forecasts.
• SME, business partner to our global risk director and external insurance advisors, responsible for tracking, placement and information gathering for all project Contractors All Risk insurance policies
• Additional duties as assigned from time to time by Management.

Job Requirements

• ACCA/ACA/CIMA – part-qualified.
• Strong analytical mind and quantitative skillset – required.
• Background in the construction industry or capital-intensive projects - preferred
• Highly proficient with MS Office Tools, especially Excel – required.
• Sound financial and business skills, “hands on” attitude, entrepreneurial mind, team spirit – essential.
• Curious problem solver with a strong sense of urgency, responsibility & accountability – essential.
• Excellent written/verbal communication & influencing skills - in English required .
• Cost Database Management experience - preferred.
• Ability to analyse complex business concepts and documents.
• Ability to effectively respond to sensitive issues, complex inquiries or complaints.
• Ability to make effective presentations on general topics.
• Provide a high-level of commitment to customer service with co-workers and stakeholders.
