Position Overview

This role can be based remotely in the US.

The Solutions Manager, AI, Global will report directly to the Director, AI, Global and will support the efficiency and growth of Vantage Data Centers’ global AI initiatives. This is a non-technical leadership role focused on orchestrating complex AI workstreams, bridging business and technical stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with the organization’s broader AI objectives.

In keeping with Vantage Data Centers’ values, the Solutions Manager, AI, Global will interact with various business units - such as IT, cybersecurity, legal, design, delivery, operations, and product teams - to build a cohesive, responsible, and innovative AI environment. The Solutions Manager will coordinate cross-functional efforts, maintain clear lines of communication, and champion best practices in AI governance, ultimately driving sustainable value across all regions.

Essential Job Functions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the planning, execution, and monitoring of major AI initiatives from concept to delivery, with initial focus on Functional Adoption and Technical Infrastructure workstreams.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (IT, Security, Legal, Compliance, and more) to ensure smooth program execution, clear milestone tracking, and timely issue resolution.

  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and refine AI governance frameworks, including ethical guidelines, risk management policies, and compliance requirements.

  • Act as a key contributor or leader within the AI Center of Excellence (CoE), ensuring best practices, standards, and methodologies are shared and adopted across the organization.

  • Serve as a liaison across multiple regions (North America, EMEA, APAC) to align AI initiatives with local regulations, cultural nuances, and business objectives.

  • Maintain comprehensive program documentation, including timelines, resource plans, budgets, and risk registers.

  • Monitor program risks, dependencies, and deliverables, providing regular progress updates to stakeholders and executive leadership.

  • Ensure AI solutions are strategically aligned with real-world design, construction, and operational requirements within the data center lifecycle.

  • Apply AEC/O experience to identify high-impact use cases and guide technical teams on practical AI implementation.

  • Champion ethical AI usage, leading efforts to implement responsible data practices and governance frameworks.

  • Stay flexible and adaptive, acknowledging that the program’s scope and focus areas will evolve as AI initiatives mature.

  • Take on additional tasks or responsibilities as needed to advance the AI program’s objectives.

Duties:

  • Conduct regular meetings with key stakeholders to capture feedback, address concerns, and disseminate critical updates on AI projects.

  • Collaborate on the AI roadmap by identifying emerging opportunities, prioritizing deliverables, and facilitating continuous improvement.

  • Ensure alignment with broader corporate objectives and the organization’s technology vision.

  • Champion change management initiatives, fostering an environment of continuous learning and iteration.

  • Identify process bottlenecks and propose enhancements to optimize AI delivery, reduce operational risk, and increase ROI.

  • Manage internal and external resources (e.g., consultants, vendors) to deliver AI projects on time and within scope.

Additional Duties:

  • Handle additional duties as assigned by Management.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7–10 years overall work experience preferred, with 3+ years in a leadership or program management role.

  • Firm requirement: Demonstrated experience in the AEC/O (Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Operations) industry, ideally with a strong understanding of data center design, construction, and operational process
