The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
Role Overview: This role is pivotal in driving growth through customer collaboration, developing new applications, and commercializing new products. The position requires leading key technical interactions with division key accounts, including program management, milestone achievement, and expected outcomes across new product initiatives and change management programs.

- Customer Collaboration & Product Development: Foster growth by collaborating with customers, developing new applications, and commercializing new products.
- Program Management: Lead priority technical interactions with key accounts, ensuring program milestones are met and expected outcomes are achieved.
- Schedule & Deliverables Management: Maintain project schedules, deliverables, and ensure effective communication and approvals from customers.
- Cross-Functional Alignment: Ensure alignment between cross-functional division resources and key account priorities.
- Field Trials & Market Evaluation: Coordinate and lead field trials with customers and evaluate local competition and marketing practices.
- Industry Standards & Insights: Demonstrate fluency in industry standards, practices, and regulations. Harness insights from key accounts based on their needs and high-value problems.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field from an accredited university
- Minimum three (3) years of combined experience in Program Management, Customer Engagement, and/or New Product Development in a private, public or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Five (5) years of combined experience in Program Management, Customer Engagement, and/or New Product Development in a private, public or military environment
- Experience Leading and Driving Projects with Customers
- Experience working with Key Accounts
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written and presentation)
- Established decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with proven ability to apply innovative solutions to problems
- Experience working on a cross-functional team
Work location:
- Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to St Paul, 3M Center)
Travel: May include up to 15% domestic/international
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
