Senior Director Integrated Talent Management (m/f/d)

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Reporting directly to the SVP HR Talent, you will lead the Integrated Talent Management team, overseeing the design and delivery of adidas Talent products and processes. Your role is pivotal in fostering a growth and performance culture and creating global standards for our key talent lifecycle processes while also being instrumental in driving change, optimizing Integrated Talent Management with a particular focus on the product strategy and vision for Talent products, including delivery and enablement.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Product & Ownership
- Create global talent product strategy and vision and its delivery in close alignment with Global HR Strategy team
- Accountable for successful enablement, implementation, adoption, continuous improvement and documentation of our talent products and processes.
- Close collaboration with talent stakeholders to gather input of companywide needs to ensure a good user experience.
- Accountable for monitoring of product KPI and milestones.
- Promotion of best practices, reusability, and optimization of product capabilities.
- Encourage innovation and a creative mindset around talent products and processes.
Performance Management
- Develop, implement and manage the end to end Performance Management process and system enablement from target setting methodology to feedback and performance calibration
- Design, activate and track the integration of feedback for the entire organization within the Performance Management process
- Partner closely with HR Rewards to ensure strong alignment between the Performance Management and Compensation methodology and strategy
- Act as company wide subject matter expert on Performance Management and lead the design of the future process and system set up as part of the strategic HR transformation project (workstream lead for Performance Management)
- Lead the Collaboration for all performance development with Works Council in Germany and partner closely with Regional Talent Leads to ensure alignment with respective local labour unions
- Utilize available performance data and industry trends to understand the drivers of performance to inform strategic decisions for improvement and enhancements
Potential & Succession Process:
- Develop, implement, and manage the adidas Global Succession Management approaches (performance and potential assessments (TLU), succession processes, career planning) that are an integral part of the overall adidas Talent Management process.
- Partner with key stakeholders (HRBP, Business Partners, Rewards, HR Strategy, Talent) to ensure that succession related milestones, interventions, processes, tools, and messaging are aligned to shape one overarching, consistent and meaningful employee experience
- Collaborate with the relevant global teams (e.g. Leadership Development, Learning, etc.) to initiate global interventions required to build on critical competencies, based on needs and gaps identified.
- Implement a structured approach and procedures to integrate and acclimate new employees into the company.
Stakeholder Management
- Champion the HR and HR Talent strategy, driving cultural change within adidas
- Influence senior leaders of the Global Talent team to achieve objectives and secure essential resources
- Act as the key interface with cross-functional HR teams to align Integrated Talent Management with other HR areas (e.g. HR Rewards)
- Facilitate issue resolution and offer guidance on dependencies and risks
- Provide a holistic HR Talent Management view to key stakeholders
Communication
- Ensure global communication on HR Talent Management vision, products, business impact and successes aligned with the Global HR Talent Communication Strategy and vision
- Create tailored Talent product updates for relevant audiences
Leadership, People Management and Team Building
- Provide transformational leadership for empowered, high-performing teams, promoting a collaborative, motivating, diverse, and psychologically safe work environment.
- Cultivate trust, diversity, and a culture of inclusion, fostering dialogue on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).
- Develop and mentor the Integrated Talent Management team into a highly skilled, engaged, and cohesive unit, recognized as the partner of choice for HR talent product delivery.
- Foster a high-performance culture with clear goals, constructive feedback, and regular performance reviews.
