The College of Business and Economics is considered a leadership unit within the university. The College is AACSB accredited at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and has more than 60 full-time faculty. The College grants the MBA degree along with the Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with concentrations in Finance, Marketing, Management, International Business, Operations Management, Management Information Systems and (through the program in Poulsbo) General Business. Other degree programs within the college include Financial Economics, Business and Sustainability, Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management, and Accounting. Resources available to students in Finance and Financial Economics include a finance lab, a student-advised investment scholarship fund, and a chapter of the FMA. Two professional advisory boards, one for the scholarship fund and one for the Finance program generally, provide consultation and support.

About the Position A full-time, tenure track position at the Assistant or Associate (pre-tenure) Professor level is available in Finance. Primary teaching responsibilities could include Managerial Finance, Cases in Financial Management, Financial Markets and Institutions, or other finance courses at the undergraduate and MBA level. The starting date is September 2025. Required Qualifications • Ph.D. or ABD in Finance at time of application (or an earned Ph.D. in Economics at time of application if it is accompanied by extensive coursework in finance and/or considerable scholarly finance-related research). If ABD, all degree requirements must be completed by June 15th of the first year of employment. (Assuming the intended September 2025 start date, all degree requirements must be completed by June 15, 2026.)• Demonstrated excellence in teaching or the demonstration of teaching promise
