The Hospital Registrar serves as the primary link between patients and the hospital, overseeing the full registration and discharge process in the EMR. Key duties include collecting point-of-service payments, coordinating arrival notifications with medical units, and maintaining high standards of customer service to ensure a positive first impression and accurate patient records.

 

 
QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum two years in hospital registration experience preferred. Experienced in a medical customer service environment required. Experience in handling and balancing cash required. Able to operate common computer software systems, utilizing both hospital and business software.
