At wheel.me we are aiming to help people improve the way they live and work by enabling "everything" indoors to move effortlessly on smart wheels. We have invented the first and only autonomous wheel in the world, and now we want you to join our team.

We are expanding in the US and are seeking a Field Technician to come on board in Tennessee for on-site deployments of our wheel.me robotics solutions at customer sites in the Nashville and Chattanooga areas. This job requires a unique combination of technical skills, customer relationship management, and effective internal and external communication. You will travel extensively, 75%, with all expenses paid.

What you will be doing at wheel.me

• Travel to client locations to deploy robotic solutions, including robotic hardware and software
• Prepare customer sites for deployments of the wheel.me solution, deploy and test the solution, train the user groups, and support production use of the system until customer acceptance is achieved
• Map customer sites to create a virtual world for the robots, validate that map and edit as needed
• Ensure smooth implementation of the robots on-site working with other Technicians and Deployment Engineers
• Follow established procedures and protocols for testing, troubleshooting, and repairing robotic equipment
• Ensure customer satisfaction while onsite implementing the solution and after deployment when troubleshooting and maintenance needs arise
• Perform repairs and complete refurbishments of wheels

• Proven experience as a Technician or in a similar role in field service
• A desire to be a hands-on problem solver who is passionate about getting the job done
• Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills with a solid understanding of hardware, software, and networking principles
• A track record of excellence in a customer environment
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Knowledge of and interest in diverse technical topics, including software, hardware, and robotics
• A valid driver's license and a car that can be used to travel to client sites as required
• Completed a high school diploma or equivalent

It would also be great if you…

• Have robotics experience
• Have experience with ROS (Robotic Operating System)
