About the role

The Integrated Master Scheduler will support Task Force Strategic Integrated Kinetic Effects (STRIKE) within Program Executive Office, Missiles and Space.

Job Requirements

  • Create, analyze, develop, and maintain Integrated Master (IMS) Schedules in Microsoft Project for multiple programs
  • Interface with the Government customer to understand the project’s acquisition strategy
  • Support the formulation, development, and assessment of project schedules, progress assessment plans, project status reporting and earned value management metrics
  • Provide information for procurement planning/forecasting for operating projects
  • Use independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload in a high-pace and detail-oriented environment
  • Interface with Mid-Range Capability (MRC) and Long Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW) Project/Product Leads, supporting vendors, and Logistics / Technical / Business / Test representatives to receive schedule inputs and integrate them into the schedule
  • Generate Integrated Master Schedule formats and outputs as required by STRIKE leadership
  • Participate in Project Meetings and support development of Milestone Schedule charts and conduct analysis of vendor’s IMS for all Design Reviews and Program Management Reviews for leadership briefings.
  • Participate in the control of contract schedules requiring a validated schedule control system
  • Participate in the preparation of schedules for all contract work

 

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited University
  • Active SECRET security clearance
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize important, competing tasks and information
  • Self-starter that needs little direction/guidance on what next steps are required with projects and demonstrate a strong attention to detail 
  • Be well versed in the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) 14-point Schedule Assessment Process
  • Be able to build, analyze, and maintain a project schedule as defined by Data Item Description (DID), Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR) DI-MGMT-81861A, specifically section 3.7 Format 6 – Integrated Master Schedule

 

 

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience with Army or DoD systems and similar experience with Microsoft Project, including establishing predecessor linkages within a schedule, load and maintain resources, generate graphical and visual reports, create custom reports, and create a master project plan to consolidate multiple projects
  • Milestone’s Professional Experience
  • Schedule Metric Analysis Experience
  • DCMA Health Check Assessments
  • Experience developing information papers and decision briefing

Desired Qualifications

  • Comfortable speaking in front of large groups
  • Previous experience in Army Program Office Engineering Team is preferred
