Head Coach – Water/Swim Physical Training Instructor

Makwa Global is seeking a talented military Veteran to join our Team as a Head Coach – Water/Swim Physical Training Instructor for the contingent award of the Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Preparatory Course Training and Support Services at Naval Station Great Lakes, Great Lakes, IL. We need the rare skill sets you have developed throughout your Military Career to properly physically train and mentally prepare SEAL and SWCC candidates for successful completion of their respective selection programs. You will lead a highly motivated and qualified team of 6 personnel with leadership and support in the areas of swimming and water skills.

Requirements

• A Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Health and Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related physical training field.
• A valid and current CPR and AED American Red Cross Certification
• A minimum of three (3) years of recent (within the last 5 years) experience working as a water/swim coach/instructor in a training environment and a valid Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification
• One (1) year of Swim Coaching experience at a competitive level (club, collegiate, or Olympic). 
• Possess a valid and current Level 3 Swim Coach certification as recognized by the American Swim Coach Association.
• Experience with qualitative and quantitative assessment methods to support the Program
• Experience using the Microsoft Office suite of programs. (Excel, Power Point, Project and Word)
