Then we would like to talk to you about the position of Project Controller for Boskalis Offshore Energy division.</p><p>As project controller at Boskalis you get the chance to be at the forefront of the energy transition. <u>Our</u> groundbreaking projects feature the largest foundations ever seen, setting new standards in renewable energy. The projects you work on vary, as you work for the different business units (7 in total) of our Offshore Energy division. In the role of project controller, you will be financially responsible and part of the core project team. This means that you have the opportunity to work globally at our project sites or in one of our regional offices.</p><p><strong>Your responsibilities as a Project Controller:</strong></p><ul><li>Monitoring the progress of ongoing projects and discussing progress and forecasts with the Senior Project Controller and/or Project Manager.</li><li>Preparing and submitting periodic financial reports and budget control reports.</li><li>Identifying, managing, and reporting risks, deadlines/contractual obligations (especially financial obligations).</li><li>Monitoring and managing progress, cash flows, claims, and variation orders.</li><li>Ensuring high-quality and timely tax reporting and handling local tax-related obligations (filings).</li><li>Providing support during the annual financial audits.</li></ul><p>As part of the ongoing transformation agenda within Boskalis, “from financial control to business control”, initiatives have been designated to meet this transformation goal. As part of your onboarding you will lead one or more improvement initiatives within Offshore Energy Finance, directly delivering a lasting impact on the way we work. At the same time, you will build your network within the Boskalis organization. For this assignments you will report directly to the CFO of Offshore Energy.</p><p><strong>What you bring as a Project Controller:</strong></p><ul><li>A bachelor degree in Business Economics, Business Administration, or a similar field<u>;</u>.</li><li><u>A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Controller</u> or similar business orientated finance role in a complex environment and preferably in the maritime, offshore, construction, manufacturing, infrastructure industry.</li><li>Strong communication skills in English<u>;</u>.</li><li>Are a team player focus on building relationships with both financial and operational colleagues;</li><li>Flexibility, strong analytical skills, goal-oriented, and ability to handle stress.</li><li>Flexibility with regards to potential overseas periods of working during your career at Boskalis (e.g. on a rotational basis at a project site).</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>What you can expect </strong></p><ul><li><u>A dynamic environment:</u> A job where you can make an impact, in an earth-moving company, as part of a diverse, international team of experts. </li><li><u>Rewarding conditions:</u> A competitive salary and much more, including holiday allowance, holiday entitlement of 31 days (based on a full-time contract), a non-contributory pension scheme, collective schemes such as company health insurance, travel allowance.</li><li><u>Career development:</u> Plenty of opportunities to realize your full potential.
