The Senior Supplier Management Engineer will be responsible for managing Resonetics Kettering direct material portfolio. This individual will be responsible for maintaining on time delivery of raw material to Kettering operations, supplier qualification, process Improvement and optimization. This individual will manage projects while developing and sustaining an infrastructure for Lean / Six Sigma within our supply chain.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum BS degree in Engineering or Physics with 5-10 yrs. Manufacturing/Process Engineering experience 
• Demonstrated Project Management experience dealing with interdisciplinary interaction to meet project schedules
• Demonstrated experience managing teams successfully without a direct reporting relationship
• Demonstrated experience managing suppliers and external technical resources.
• Working knowledge of product costing structures and COGs
• General understanding of statistical analysis for purposes of equipment validation 
• Experienced with Process Improvement/Optimization utilizing Lean Six Sigma (LSS) skillset 
• Strong organizational skills
• Hands on 
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strongly motivated and goal oriented 
• Will adjust working hours and/or work extra hours to meet project deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent experience
• LSS Green Belt or equivalent experience.
• ISO 13485:2003, iso 9001:2008

Compensation

The compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications. The anticipated range is $88,000–$115,000.
