Description:

Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida is a full-service, non-profit Catholic hospital, sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy and a member of Trinity Health.

This is a Full Time position with benefits working the evening shift.

Job Summary:
 

• Cleans, inspects, assembles and sterilizes instruments and other materials according to prescribed procedures and techniques.
• Stores, rotates and insures the instruments and other items are labeled correctly.
• Distributes clean and retrieves soiled instruments, rental equipment and other materials on a scheduled or emergency basis.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Central Service Technician course.
• At least 1 year of experience preferred.
• Knowledge of surgical instrumentation and sterilization.
• Computer knowledge.
