Position Overview:
The individual in this role is responsible for oversight of the entire installation process within the Plumbing department. The Install manager supervises install crews, coordinates project schedules, ensures code compliance, and manages client expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Supervise and lead Installation Crews
- Directly responsible for interviewing, training, managing, and evaluating technicians
- Conduct ride alongs with technicians and provide feedback
- Ensure all installs are completed to the highest quality standards; obtaining permits as necessary
- Communicate and monitor goals
- Manage workload and schedules to best utilize manpower and maximize profits
- Assist technicians with issues while in the field
- Facilitate weekly meetings
- Resolve customer issues or concerns to ensure complete satisfaction
- Ensure all department operations are carried out in compliance with local, state, federal, and company requirements
- Ensure all team members comply with OSHA safety standards
- Harness a safety culture
- Provide feedback to managers regarding market trends, revenue opportunities, customer issues, and all issues relevant to the business
- Manage and stay within departmental budget
- Achieve budgeted gross margin
- Meet or exceed all company goals
- Maximize lead opportunities, retain and grow Club Membership clients
- Review, approve new products and services
- Perform clerical duties associated with, but not limited to, field technician paperwork, personnel evaluations, and expense reports
- Obey and teach the company core values
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
Requirements
- 5 years of Trade Management (Preferred)
- High school diploma (preferred)
- Specialized in Plumbing trade
- Capable of maintaining confidential written and verbal information
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and/or governmental regulations
- Must pass a drug test and background check
- Present and communicate professionally (written and verbal)
- Must be a critical thinker with Strong English composition skills
- Ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize projects
- Positive self-starter who can take the initiative and drive their own learning
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
