Senior Account Manager, National Solution Provider (NSP)

About the role

Overview

This position reports to the Associate Director of Sales and is responsible for managing and expanding Sharp’s relationships within assigned National Solution Provider (NSP) customer accounts. The role focuses on driving strategic alignment at both the seller and executive levels, increasing Sharp revenue, and accelerating end-user demand across targeted NSP vertical markets.

 

Key areas of focus include:

  • Deep engagement with NSP seller teams, category management, and leadership
  • Joint business planning, pipeline development, and execution
  • Development and ownership of the account growth strategy
  • Expansion of Sharp’s presence across account-led verticals including corporate, higher education, government, healthcare, digital signage, and transportation
  • Support of account-hosted events, national programs, and customer engagements

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships across NSP account sales, category management, and leadership teams
  • Serve as the primary Sharp point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring alignment across sales, product, marketing, and operations
  • Train and enable NSP sellers on Sharp products, programs, incentives, and competitive differentiation
  • Understand and effectively position Sharp’s full portfolio, including LFD, dvLED, collaboration, projectors, desktop displays, and services
  • Create and execute joint sales and marketing initiatives to build pipeline and improve close rates
  • Partner directly with NSP sellers to drive demand and capture new end-user opportunities
  • Support account-hosted trade shows, roadshows, and vertical-focused events
  • Work with marketing and operations to track account-specific rebates, promotions, and reporting
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of at least 3× assigned revenue quota
  • Travel to account locations, customer meetings, and events (up to 50%)

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum of 7+ years of sales experience in high-tech, Pro Audio Visual (A/V), or related technology industries
  • Experience managing and growing strategic or national channel partner accounts

Knowledge & Expertise

  • Working knowledge of digital signage and display technologies and relevant vertical markets
  • Understanding of partner-led sales models, channel ecosystems, and national account structures
  • Ability to articulate value-based selling concepts, including quality, total cost of ownership (TCO), service, and support

Skills & Competencies

  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth and manage complex sales pipelines
  • Strong analytical, forecasting, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Strong planning, organization, and time-management capabilities
  • Ability to influence internal teams and partner sellers without direct authority

Tools & Work Environment

  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%

Compensation for this position

The compensation range for this role is $100,000 - $115,000. The listed salary range or contractual rate excludes bonuses, incentives, differential pay, and any other forms of compensation or benefits. The starting salary will be determined by several variables, including but not limited to experience, education, training, certification, and location.
