Position Overview
The IT Audit Manager will join Global Atlantic's Boston or New York office and be responsible for performing information technology audits and integrated business audits. In particular, job responsibilities entail execution of audits, including all phases of planning, fieldwork and reporting involving technology, product lines and functional business lines; helping with efforts in implementing continuous auditing capabilities, automation and development of agile auditing; development and fostering key relationship with senior management in Technology and other business areas; and involvement in various firmwide enterprise risk initiatives and projects with exposure to all the firm’s activities.
Skills and/or knowledge
- Strong Information Technology knowledge and experience
- Experience with Data Analytics in performance of audits
- Ability to develop strong relationships with management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively present to peers and management
- Ability to efficiently multi-task to meet deadlines
- CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) qualification or CISA track are a plus
- Ability to work well in a team environment and independently
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant major
- Approximately 3-7 years of public accounting and/or private industry experience with strong knowledge of information technology, data analytics and internal controls
- Previous experience with SOX/MAR IT General Controls
- Experience with Tableau and other data mining and visualization tools are a plus
- Prior industry experience is a plus, specifically Life Insurance, Annuities, and Investments
- Ability and willingness to travel (approximately 15%)
Global Atlantic’s base salary range is determined through an analysis of similar positions in the external labor market. Base pay is just one component of Global Atlantic’s total compensation package for employees and at times we hire outside the boundaries of the salary range. Other rewards may include annual cash bonuses, long-term incentives (equity), generous benefits (including immediate vesting on employee contributions to a 401(k)), as well as a company match on your contributions), and sales incentives. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Compensation for our more senior positions have a larger component of short-term cash bonus and long-term incentives. The base salary range for this role is $77,000 to $147,000
