The successful candidate, as part of the EH&S Center of Expertise (COE), will serve as a Learning Management System (LMS) expert, supporting implementation of learning systems and processes, while assisting with the support of Corteva’s LMS (GrowU) and following best practices that are in alignment with the Corteva Learning Strategy. This role:
- Supports and leads the integration activities related to the LMS tools and processes for EHS&S
- Supports development and leads the implementation of training to support EHS&S standards and policies, in alignment with the corporate management system (auditing training compliance)
- Mentors Regional Implementation Specialists, Local GrowU Admins, and Training Coordinators to improve personal performance and consistently apply learning management standards and best practices
- Leads cross-functional learning projects to drive productivity improvements through learning management systems and processes
- Supports development of technical training initiatives in alignment with business objectives to accelerate technical expertise
- Ability to communicate across departments, functions, geographies, and teams to effectively manage change
- Practical experience with using training tools, processes, and standards
- Ability to lead projects and teams
- Works as a change agent for the organization
- Ability to manage projects and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment at a high level of competence
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- This job requires an enthusiastic, progressive thinker with a passion for learning, ability to develop and implement innovative solutions, and the ability to influence across different levels and functions within an organization
- Practical experience in Training Coordination in support of plant operations (5+ years of experience)
- Experience as an administrator in an LMS (5+ years of experience)
- Expertise in utilizing Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint) and conducting data analyses and executive summary reports
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Systems testing experience
- Practical experience with using training tools, processes, and standards
- Experience with file maintenance, file share structure, and best practices
- Strong attention to detail and proofreading
- Ability to prioritize, schedule and meet deadlines
- Work both independently and within a team
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Systems, Tools, Processes, Reporting
- Serve as EHS&S Implementation Coordinator, working with EHS&S Standard and Policy owners to:
- Advise and create the necessary job roles to assign training to the appropriate target audiences. Create the courses and job roles in GrowU
- Create maintain standard training tables to be published on the EHS&S SharePoint
- Communicate new and updated training requirements to GrowU Local Admins and stakeholders so that assignments can be maintained locally and update training assignments where they can be centralized
- Serve as Super Admin and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the LMS and processes for EHS&S
- Point of contact for implementation of global/regional learning initiatives in the North American region
- Be up-to-speed and “in-the- know” of learning issues and opportunities at the facility level across the respective region, and resolve issues through appropriate channels
- Escalate issues that cannot be resolved or are outs
