Behavior Interventions was founded in 2006 by two Board Certified Behavior Analysts with a mission to provide quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to our families in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. Our team is composed of clinical and administrative team members all focused on creating meaningful change in the lives of those we serve. We are seeking an Assistant Program Director to support our Clinical team and maintain our treatment center in Mt. Joy, PA.
Reporting Relationship: The Assistant Program Director reports to the Program Director for all of the duties and responsibilities listed below and for other duites that the Program Director may assign.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
RBT Requirements Coordinator
- Support Program Director with RBT supervision requirements
- Participate in RBT Orientation
- Participate in Competency Assessments for Orienting Technicians
- Support Program Supervisor in running RBT monthly meetings as needed
Treatment Center Management:
- Provide crisis management support during sessions and general treatment center coverage.
- Support the management of current treatment center services
- Supervise EP Scheduler and provide oversight and support with all scheduling functions as needed
- Support Program Supervisor, and EP Floaters
Clinician Support:
- Provide monthly Operations portion of BCBA Orientation and support Program Director with orienting new BCBA Hires
- Provides administrative and clinical oversight and support of interns.
- Supervises Assistant Behavior Analysts and completes monthly and quarterly direct observation of Assistant Behavior Analysts, providing feedback on performance, ensuring satisfactory implementation of treatment protocols, program development, and supervision of Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technicians. Direct observation includes on-site, live-virtual and recorded sessions.
- Identifies and implements quality control measures while supporting staff to provide exceptional services. Services include Caregiver Guidance, Behavior Consultation, Assessments, and Behavior Change Interventions based on the science of behavior analysis
- Utilizes the science of behavior-analysis to teach skills to direct reports, their supervisees, and caregivers
- Prepares topics, maintains accurate records (ie. agenda/notes), and runs scheduled meetings including: weekly meetings with Assistant Behavior Analysts, monthly individual supervision with direct reports, monthly team meetings, and other department meetings as assigned. Co-runs with Program Director monthly BCBA and EP team meetings.
- Implements strategies to support clinical staff in meeting and exceeding expectations. Strategies include providing feedback, training and coaching on behavior-analytic strategies as appropriate, and implementing performance improvement plans.
- Support the Program Director, clinical leadership and human resources in employee selection, retention and termination proceedings for Program Specialist, Program Supervisor, Scheduler and Behavior Analyst, Assistant Behavior Analyst and technician positions for designated office location. Activities include interviewing and selecting candidates, orienting new hires, and participating in decisions relating to disciplinary action.
- Attend provider specific meetings to review current client progress and new client availability
- Participate in committees (e.g., RPC, Ethics, Cultural Competence)
- Complete clinical-based initiatives/projects
- Support Program Director with evaluations as needed
- Support Program Director with Enhanced Program client intake procedures
