We are looking to add a Customer Service Representative to our team at Greymont Kennel!

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITES (include but are not limited to): 

  • Greeting all guests with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Scheduling boarding reservations, daycare reservations, and grooming appointments.
  • Operating our POS system.
  • Giving facility tours to prospective clients.
  • Accurately describing our service menu to clients.
  • Answering the telephone promptly and responding to all incoming email and text messages before the end of our business hours.
  • Escorting boarding dogs and cats to and from their lodging spaces.
  • Daily organization and cleaning of lobby space.
  • Accurately obtaining and entering pet and owner information into our scheduling software.
  • Create a positive experience for our clients by having a "can do" attitude.
  • Routing our shuttle service for the following day & providing accurate time estimates to our clients using the shuttle service.

 

REQUIREMENTS: 

Expertise & Experience: 

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent. 

  • Minimum of 1-year experience in a customer service role

  • Must have ability to resolve problems quickly and professionally. 

  • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Must have excellent telephone skills. 

  • Must be able to utilize a multi-line phone system and work on a computer system. 

  • Displays a professional manner at all times. 

  • Present self in a professional, hygienic form.

Physical: 

  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays. 

  • Must be able to frequently lift 40 pounds. 

  • Must be able to stand, walk and climb stairs frequently. 

  • Must be able to handle dogs on leashes. 

  • Must be able to display safe feline handling.

  • Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to disinfectant/sanitation chemicals, animal dander and excretions. 

 

REPORTS TO: General Manager & Assistant Manager

PERKS:  PT Health insurance, PT mental Health, PT telehealth

PAY: $14/hour depending on experience.
