Tetra Pak Processing Systems A/S (Tetra Pak Ice Cream) – the world´s leading supplier of machinery and lines for the production, treatment, and packing of Ice Cream products – is looking for a highly motivated newly graduated Automation Engineer – Future Talent in Aarhus to join us in September 2024!
Future Talent Program is a Trainee Program within Tetra Pak. We offer a permanent position from start in September 2024 at our site in Aarhus, Denmark. You will onboard an individual-designed development program for 18 months connected to a specific position and the Tetra Pak organization.
As an Automation Engineer Future Talent at Tetra Pak, you will be responsible for all automation-related tasks in the ice cream industry, including product development, software design and implementation for production lines and equipment, commissioning, and customer training. Your daily work and interactions with Future Talents at other Tetra Pak locations provide a unique opportunity to network across disciplines and boundaries.
Furthermore, the programme allows you to rotate between different product areas, engineering disciplines, and even different sites. We anticipate that the right candidate will establish a solid foundation from which to grow and eventually gain the skills required to take on the challenge of becoming a future product specialist or technical leader.
During the program you will participate in trainings and job rotations throughout various parts of to explore your potential and grow as a person. You will be on technical track to develop your engineering skills and bring you leading technical knowledge in an accelerated way. You will be part of a truly global company with a dynamic, innovative mindset as well as strong roots in a technological environment.

What you will do
As an Automation Engineer, you will be involved in the following activities:
- Develop and maintain PLC software for advanced ice cream processing and handling equipment, including safety, servo, and motion control technology.
- Provide HMI programming and user interface design for machine control and line monitoring systems.
- Assist customers with commissioning new systems, control upgrades, and troubleshooting at their sites.

We believe you have
- A bachelor's or master's degree in electrical, automation, or software engineering, or intend to complete one within the current year (with a graduation date no more than two years ago).
- You possess strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- You excel at finishing tasks and working independently.
- You are a team player with excellent communication skills.
- Experience from studies or work abroad is considered a merit.
- You are proficient in English, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in Danish is advantageous, but not mandatory.
- You currently reside and are eligible to work in Denmark.
