Derivatives Negotiation Lawyer

We are currently seeking Derivatives Negotiation Lawyers to work with our financial institutions client base.  

Responsibilities: 

• Negotiate and advise on ISDA Master Agreements, including Credit Support Annexes (CSAs).
• Manage and handle Master Securities Forward Transaction Agreements (MSFTAs).
• Oversee and negotiate Master Repurchase Agreements (MRAs) for repo transactions.
• Administer and advise on Securities Lending Agreements, particularly Global Master Securities Lending Agreements (GMSLAs), if applicable.
• Collaborate with financial institutions, hedge funds, and asset managers to fulfill their specific agreement needs.
• Develop and implement strategies for collateral arrangements, netting, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate and negotiate Prime Brokerage Agreements.

Minimum Qualifications:  

• Serve as a team player with prior experience in corporate and financial institutions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage complex terms and share with various stakeholders in a simple and effective manner.
• Ability to work closely and collaboratively with other internal departments. 
• 5+ years of experience related to ISDA documentation within a law firm or in a corporate or financial institution. 
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating ISDA Derivatives Master Agreements.
• Experience supporting trading desks in a fast-paced environment. 

Compensation, Benefits & Location:  

This role offers a range of competitive compensation starting at $155,000 and a highly competitive benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace that includes health benefits, 401K and more.  Axiomites also get access to professional development resources and learning and development programs.
