These supplies are critical to saving lives, supporting children’s health and education, and protecting them from abuse, exploitation, and neglect. As the UN’s largest end to end supply chain entity, UNICEF leverages its global reach, market influence, supply chain expertise and partnerships with governments, civil society, private sector, industry, and other stakeholders to meet children’s needs and protect their rights around the world.</p> <p>SD focuses on three result areas to maximize impact, scale, and effectiveness: strategic procurement; supply preparedness and response in humanitarian and fragile contexts; and supply chain optimization. To facilitate and accelerate progress toward these results, SD employs three change strategies: financing for supply and services, supply chain digitalization and supply chain localization.</p> <p>The Procurement Manager (eProcurement) reports to the Service Contracting Center Chief. The Service Contracting Centre (SCC) is part of Supply Division and centralizes the service contracting for all Head Quarters Divisions and Offices and leads the Service Contracting Strategy focusing on optimizing institutional contracting of services globally. Starting 2026, SCC teams will be based in two locations: Budapest and  Valencia. Established in 2017 to bring efficiencies and improve compliance by leading the procurement of services for diverse category of services across various Headquarters Divisions/Offices &amp; becoming a source of expert knowledge and resources in the various categories of services.</p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>How can you make a difference</strong><strong>?</strong> </p> <p>Under the direct supervision of the SCC Chief and Strategic direction from the DLC Lead, the Procurement Manager (eProcurement) acts as the Product Owner in the product team. This role serves as the primary lead of the project, liaison between stakeholders, end users and the delivery team, representing the voice of the customer and owning the product backlog. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog based on the business needs captured by the Business Analyst, identifying critical path functionalities and working closely with the Product Manager for its inclusion on the relevant documents as needed. The incumbent should ensure that the development outputs meet user expectations and plays a critical role in the day-to-day operational coordination of the product, complementing the Product’s Manager strategic focus as well as providing necessary updates and inputs to Senior Management and UNICEF
