Senior Manager, Accounting Reporting and Analytics

Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager of Accounting Reporting and Analytics to join our growing Finance Team. The ideal candidate will bring technical and leadership expertise, strong analytical skills, and a passion for problem-solving to our organization. This role will be responsible for designing and managing the company's financial reporting functions and improving our financial analytics capabilities.
About the Role:●Develop, streamline and create processes, procedures, reporting and consistent accounting applications throughout the company. ●Work closely with the Director of Revenue Accounting on the transition over to Oracle. ●Work closely with the BI/reporting team to improve daily, weekly, monthly reports for Revenue and COGS, with the goal of standardizing reports across the company.●Design and implement internal controls for Revenue Share, Minimum Guarantee.●Lead the creation of a process where data flows into Oracle via Tableau.●Identify friction and inefficient processes and lead the Revenue Accounting and other partner teams through the process of implementing solutions.●Oversee the creation of clear SOP's related to accounting data and how it flows through enterprise-wide systems.●Identify key KPI's and sources that need to be loaded to Oracle for Analytical purposes. ●Work with partner teams to implement above for COGS, ensuring accuracy and streamlining revenue share with our suppliers (Verizon, Att, Samsung, cricket, etc)
About You:●Excellent leadership skills with experience in managing a direct team.●Proven ability to lead without direct authority and influence teams across the organization to collaborate on creation and implementation of solutions through processes and systems.●7+ years of experience in a similar role●Advanced knowledge of accounting and reporting software●Proficient in data analysis and presentation software.●Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).●Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.●Strong written and verbal communication skills.●Able to handle high levels of pressure and critical decision-making.●Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required. Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
