Warehouse Forklift and Materials Handler - 4 day weekend!

We are hiring a great Forklift and Materials Handler to work in our Plant Warehouse in beautiful Bend, Oregon. This position is responsible for ensuring that all established shipping, receiving, and warehousing processes are followed. This includes outbound distributor shipments, receiving materials, organization, inventory, and material transfers to support all departments’ processes within the brewery. Successful candidates need to be able to work well in a team-oriented environment to accomplish the company’s strategic initiatives while providing excellent service to our many internal and external customers.

We are actively seeking to fill the following opening: (Schedules may adjust depending on production needs)

• Thursday - Saturday (3/12s): Night shift from 5pm-5:30am - Eligible for an additional shift differential of $3.00/hr
• Thursday - Saturday (3/12s): Day shift from 5am-5:30pm.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work safely and be actively engage in site safety programs.
• Move materials in support of all operations, this includes raw materials, finished goods, and waste(s).
• Prepare materials for production’s use.
• Efficiently organize raw materials and the organization and rotation of finished goods.
• Keep warehouse and production floor safe, clean and free of debris, prepare lines at shift change and stocked for incoming shift.
• Unload and receive raw materials and shipments.
• Complete all necessary paperwork (i.e. tickets and orders), read and understand specifications for all products. Also, able to read and understand production schedule and Materials Lists.
• Work closely with team members to be more efficient, troubleshooting problems and helping find new or better solutions.
• Participate in and promote continuous improvement activities.
• Interface with maintenance personnel to assist in resolving equipment/process problems on a daily basis, and assist supervisory team.
• Works in compliance with Food Safety Management System and GMP's.
• Keep warehouse manager informed of key issues for the department.
• Operate in a support capacity with other departments.
• Help in planning and solving the space constraint issues in the plant.
• Communicate product shortages to the warehouse manager. Work across departments to fulfill customer orders.
• Communicate frequently with other team members to ensure all critical work is being completed.

COMPENSATION:

Wages: Base wages when joining this team start at $21.00/hour along with an additional $3.00/hour differential when working night shift hours (equivalent to $24.00/hour).
