Job Summary
The Director of IT Infrastructure is responsible for leading and inspiring dynamic teams of engineers across diverse and complex environments. Your teams are at the heart of OVHcloud’s internal infrastructure, powering critical systems that drive the company’s success. From cutting-edge Corporate Tools and Digital Platforms to robust Security Operations, IT Support, and Infrastructure Services, you oversee the development, configuration, and deployment of systems that keep the entire organization running smoothly and securely. This is a key leadership position that bridges cloud infrastructure expertise with a commitment to customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple teams of Engineers to ensure effective communication, provide mentoring/coaching (to include bi-weekly 1:1 meetings), driving goals as defined in the roadmap, and promoting a positive and product.
  • Define and execute an IT infrastructure roadmap aligned with company goals and growth.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with global teams across multiple time zones to drive innovation, share insights, and ensure cohesive execution of projects.
  • Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services from inception and design, through deployment, operation and refinement.
  • Drive automation, orchestration, and self-service provisioning capabilities for internal and external customer-facing systems.
  • Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency and overall system health.
  • Ensure successful deployment, configuration, and support of Core Infrastructure Systems.
  • Lead IT support operations across OVHcloud US to deliver a seamless employee experience, from onboarding to offboarding (devices, VPN, communications, and collaboration tools), while also managing and maintaining corporate and datacenter IT infrastructure—including network equipment, security systems, office connectivity, and end-user technologies.
  • Maintain site reliability in a production environment.
  • Practice sustainable incident response and postmortems.
  • Collaborate with Agile teams in defining technical requirements and best practices with containerized and cloud-native applications
  • Represent production support and site reliability in stand-ups, planning sessions, infrastructure code reviews, and architecture reviews
  • Act as an escalation point of contact as needed.
     
Minimum Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in Linux/Unix Administration and DevOps methodology, including experience with large scale operations support, and remediation.
  • 6+ years of experience reading/supervising one or more teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field. Relevant experience considered in lieu of degree.
  • Strong experience collaborating globally
  • Strong understanding of Linux and networking fundamentals.
  • Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting and fault resolution skills.
  • Strong experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), i.e., Terraform, Cloud-formation, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of virtualization (i.e., OpenStack, VMware)
  • Strong knowledge of large-scale cloud hosted and micros-services architecture.
