Job Description

Sibylline Ltd is looking for an experienced Global Security Program Manager to join us in an embedded role for our client based in the US (Remote). This is a senior role that will have a crucial impact in developing, executing, and maintaining the client’s departmental security strategy in the US, with both strategic and operational responsibilities for protecting the client’s staff, assets, operations, and brands.

 

The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded security professional, capable of fusing intelligence-based decision making with a flexible leadership style and innovation. The Embedded Security Manager will be responsible for conducting or overseeing site security assessments, general investigations, workplace violence issues, crisis planning and mitigation response strategies, product protection, site security operations for employees and affiliates, and other global focus areas as needed for their region of responsibility.

 

This role is likely to require up to 40% business travel; mainly within the US, with a small portion international. It would therefore be advantageous for applicants to live near or within a major metropolitan area to facilitate travel. Applicants must be willing to work unsociable hours during emergencies or on-call periods and be able to work calmly and accurately in high-stress situations. The ability to build strong and lasting relationships with other internal departments and business functions is also highly desirable for this role.

 

The Embedded Global Security Program Manager will be supervised by the client’s security leadership day-to-day, while also reporting to Sibylline’s Embedded Operations team at HQ. Full support will be provided from our head office, including training and professional development.

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and manage security measures for new and existing client facilities across the US;
  • Implement strategic and tactical planning for security services, serving as a primary resource and advisor for security matters within the assigned area;
  • Oversee a large and complex geographical region, ensuring protection of assets, executives, facilities, and operating sites;
  • Conduct site security and risk assessments to safeguard staff, physical assets, and intellectual properties;
  • Research and deploy state-of-the-art security technology solutions, including Access Control and CCTV systems;
  • Assist in the development of training for regional security teams;
  • Support executive protection and asset safeguarding;
  • Assist or support any Global Security projects external to the assigned region, as requested;
  • Monitor security bulletins, news media, and global political crises that may impact operations or personnel, making time-critical, risk-based decisions when needed;
  • Participate in emergency and crisis management teams;
  • Proactively brief senior management on international security issues;
