We are hiring! To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer for Automotive radar (full-time 38.5 hours).
Stellenbeschreibung
You become part of our interdisciplinary team for the development of application specified integrated circuits (ASICs) for Bosch Automotive Electronics. For our automotive radar development activities in close collaboration with engineering teams at other Bosch locations we are looking for a System Engineering/Architecture Expert:
- Take over responsibility: Drive IC requirements definition in alignment with other development functions and customers. Actively contribute to the generation of IC architecture and product specifications for dedicated SoC functions e.g.:RX-chain, TX-chain, sequencing, Chirp PLL, etc. and put in place System C models for concept development.
- Assess in a structured manner: Actively drive architecture decisions and circuit / firmware implementation plans, and devise hardware/software optimized innovative solutions to overcome technical challenges (HW-SW split). Prepare and submit invention disclosure documents for patent filing to protect any new IP developed, and work with reliability engineers to ensure that best practices for design robustness, ESD protection and reliability are followed at system level.
- Think holistically: Work with product test engineers to define a cost optimized production test solution with the implementation of Design for Test circuits as applicable. Work with functional safety engineers to develop safety concepts that can be effectively implemented and verified, and support the application engineering team in solving and anticipating customer issues.
Qualifikationen
- Personality: High level of enthusiasm, creativity, and willingness to work in international and interdisciplinary teams, Effective team player with focused on independent working style and with a good knowledge of analog and RF signal chains and digitally assisted analog/RF systems
- Experience and Know-How: At least five years of industrial experience as system architect / concept engineer for highly integrated high frequency/mixed signal ASICs (preferably automotive products). System level / behavioral modelling and simulation experience in SystemC and Matlab. Experience in analog & digital signal processing, in digitally assisted analog/RF signal chains and knowhow in PLL architectures (analog + digital) is a plus
- Education and Languages: Completed technical education (Electrical engineering, Communications engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent), C1 English skills required, German skills are a plus

Gross salary starting from 50.000,00 EUR p.a. (38.5 h / week, collective agreement metalworking, no all-in contract). Overpayment is practiced due to the appropriate experience and qualifications. Another additional salary component are bonuses.
