Find your future with us.</p><p></p><p>This position is a shift leader responsible for safe operation of a test facility (TDL) that includes pumps, compressors, valves, instrumentation, and other equipment with multiple process flows operating at a wide range of temperatures and pressures. Multiple positions are needed to support 24 hours/day, 7 days/week operations.</p><p></p><p>Position Responsibilities:</p><ul><li><p>Directs and coordinates all facility activities during the shift to ensure safe and efficient operations and maintenance</p></li><li><p>Coordinates with personnel requesting test services to plan and execute testing</p></li><li><p>Controls and monitors facility equipment and data to execute the operating plan and to identify anomalies</p></li><li><p>Directs technicians and other personnel to ensure proper execution of the planned shift activities</p></li><li><p>Develops modifications to the planned shift activities and schedule as necessary to accommodate unforeseen situations</p></li><li><p>Analyze facility performance and develop recommendations for improved performance</p></li><li><p>Develops and executes troubleshooting plans in response to anomalies</p></li><li><p>Develops, creates, and maintains documentation that supports both internal and external regulatory requirements including EHS</p></li><li><p>Develops operating and maintenance procedures</p></li><li><p>Directs and coordinates outside vendors and personnel from other Boeing groups for shift activities supporting facility operating and maintenance</p></li></ul><ul><li><p>Prepares shift documentation and coordinate with incoming shift to effect smooth shift turnover</p></li><li><p>Performs surveillance on equipment via walk-arounds</p></li><li><p>Operates valves and moves lightweight supplies and equipment</p></li><li><p>Works under minimal direction</p></li><li><p>Good “Attention to Detail” and organization skills</p></li><li><p>Good communication skills including the ability to communicate with a diverse audience</p></li><li><p>Basic capability with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.</p><p></p><p>This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.</p><p></p><p>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</p><ul><li><p>Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry</p></li><li><p>Experience supporting the operation and maintenance of facility equipment such as pumps, valves, compressors, instrumentation, and heat exchangers</p></li><li><p>Experience developing, troubleshooting procedures, diagnose and troubleshoot equipment technical issues</p></li><li><p>Experience with fluid flow/pressure drop principals, rotating machinery, and thermodynamics principals</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):</p><ul><li><p>5+ years work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience </p></li><li><p>10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience</p></li><li><p>2 or more years of experience as a lead or supervisor responsible for operation and/or maintenance in a facility with pumps, compressors, valves, and instrumentation.</p></li><li><p>2 or more years of experience operating with cryogenic systems</p></li><li><p>Outstanding communication skills including the ability to communicate with a diverse audience</p></li><li><p>Proficient capability with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook</p></li><li><p>Adjudicated Counter Intelligence scope polygraph completed within the last 5 years</p></li><li><p>A current Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S. Citi
