About the role

The Center for Healthcare Delivery Science (CHDS) at Nemours Children’s Health is seeking a full-time Research Program Manager. The position is available immediately and is based in Jacksonville or Orlando, FL. This position will work closely with Susana Patton, Center Director, as well as other Florida CHDS investigators. 

The Research Program Manager will be responsible for providing direct grants administrative and program management support to CHDS-FL to facilitate the needs of the center director and investigators in areas such as financial management, strategic planning, staffing and administrative oversight, regulatory assistance, and liaison with various ancillary departments, stakeholders, and research leadership. A self-starter who works well independently and has a superior customer service attitude is essential.

The Center for Healthcare Deliver Science (CHDS) (www.nemours.org/chds) is a research center across the Nemours enterprise. Anne Kazak, Ph.D., ABPP is the enterprise director, Melissa Alderfer, PhD is the Center Director in Delaware and Susana Patton, PhD is the Center Director in Florida. The CHDS includes 18 investigators that study ways to improve wellness beyond medicine for children, youth and their families. 

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business/management/operations or health-related field, such as nursing, psychology, social work, public health or related. 
  • Administrative experience with federal research grants.
  • At least 3 years in a similar role or capacity and demonstration of increased responsibilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
