What we want
Works under general supervision and provides advanced administrative support work. Assists management in coordinating office support activities, including a bilingual hotline. Will also be responsible for assisting with the Learning Management System, which includes approving online accounts, helping educators throughout a course, and answering emails.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
High school graduation or any equivalent combination of education and experience
Three years of experience in general office or clerical work
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer service and multi-line phone handling
Bilingual in English/Spanish
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing
Ability to positively and professionally interact with clients and staff
Excellent communication skills
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to orally comprehend and express information and use inductive and deductive reasoning
Ability to positively and professionally interact with clients and staff, and groups of various sizes
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
Responsibilities
General Administrative Support
General office duties include answering phone calls, taking messages, printing, and scanning
Serving as a first point of contact for local phones and Literacy Hotline calls in both English & Spanish, including literacy program referral and high school equivalency testing questions in support of a sponsored research program
Sorts and distributes incoming mail
Assist in keeping gathering areas neat
Assists with ordering and storing office supplies
Support Service to LMS System
Provide technical assistance and customer service to the LMS Administrator for the Professional Development Training Portal
Answer any portal questions through phone or email
Assist with the shared PD Portal email account
Provide technical assistance to online portal users
Updating Directory
Reaching out to programs within our online directory for updates
Recording responses and routing to appropriate staff members
