OIPA Lead - Hybrid Dallas

We are currently seeking a OIPA Lead - Hybrid Dallas to join our team in Dallas, Texas (US-TX), United States (US).  This is a hybrid position (2-3 days / per week in Dallas office)

 

Responsibilities:

• Evaluation of specifications for complex business requirements and processes (new, enhancements, maintenance), and develop and prepare technical solutions and documents.
• Perform functional gap analysis, review design documentation and participate in design reviews.
• Monitor Service Requests, Incidents and act up on for providing solutions, perform troubleshoot, analyze and route tickets to appropriate groups in the event of code or application configuration changes.
• Collaborate with respective stake holders from Production Support, Development and Functional Teams
• Review and interpret architectural and technical design documents to develop complex OIPA transactions and processes using best practice OIPA configuration techniques.
• Troubleshoot logical queries to facilitate calculations, reporting, and complex formulas.
• Troubleshoot and research data and application defects to provide Root Cause analysis.
• Maintain and Develop Technical configuration and Design Documents
• Work closely and partner with Internal Business stake holders, external vendors for activities such as Production deployments, monitoring daily cycle, integration jobs and configuration changes.
• Perform code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and maintain AsFile, Real-time and Push integration services.
• Research and evaluate system capabilities for integrating product, service and technical solutions to enable business partners.
• REST services with proven ability to implement solutions.
• Entity based logical modeling and data throughput optimization.
• Adhere to defined OIPA integration best practices.
• Database concepts and a strong understanding of SQL query building and optimization

 

Basic Qualifications:

• Insurance life and health products for individual, group, and worksite markets  
• 4 years configuration experience on life or health products using OIPA V10 or V11
• LOMA certification with insurance business functions including underwriting and policy issue, payment processing, monthaversary, anniversary, disbursement, withdrawal, correspondence, nonforfeiture, lapse processing, state reporting, billing, policy servicing, product set-up, health claims processing, life claims processing
• XSLT and OIPA configuration

 

Preferences/Nice to have:

• Oracle SOA and BPM

 

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Actuarial, Math, Statistics, Finance, Computer Science, or other equivalent working experience
