FP&A Specialist - Financial, Planning & Analysis

FP&A (Financial, Planning & Analysis) ANALYST – Ashtabula, OH.  RHI US, Ltd. is seeking to fill this position in its Ashtabula, OH office.

 

An FP&A analyst will analyze financial data to support budgeting, forecasting, and planning.  The role will utilize SAP ERP systems to advise the business on key strategic decisions: report, forecast and maintain financial & product costing data; and analyze information in alignment with global initiatives.  Responsibilities include:

• Serve as primary finance business partner to local operations teams

• Proactively seek ideas to drive cost improvements

• Complete key month-end close activities

• Assist the development of ROI and payback calculations for proposed capital projects

• Analyze trends and causes of Key Performance Indicators (KPI), relating to financial metrics

• Ad-hoc business performance reporting

• Present the monthly and quarterly financial reports of various units and departments

• Utilize the company business intelligence (BI) tool and dashboard reports

• Develop financial models and analyze them to support strategic initiatives

• Support analysis of complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.

• Support management team and the Heads of Department with data-driven analysis

 

Position Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field. 5 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or similar position.  3+ years of experience in the Manufacturing Industry required. Experience using SAP required.  Experience and/or training using SAP S/4HANA required. Advanced Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables) and PowerPoint skills.
