About the role

The QA/QC Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality, efficiency, and compliance of all aspects of the mining operation. This role involves developing and implementing quality assurance and quality control programs, monitoring mining performance, analyzing data, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The QA/QC Manager will work closely with EPC, Operations, Safety and Inventory Teams to optimize processes, mitigate risks, and ensure regulatory compliance. Additionally, this role requires effective leadership and communication skills to manage a team and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and stakeholders. 

Essential Functions

• Conduct and oversee in-process inspections and testing, ensuring alignment with project and contractual quality requirements.
• Coordinate inspection and testing schedules with project teams and external agencies.
• Manage Non-Conformance Reports and logs for any deviations from specifications.
• Ensure quality of materials and equipment through rigorous receiving inspections.
• Develop and maintain accurate quality documentation and reports.
