Job Description

As a Clinical Athletic Trainer II, you’ll keep the clinic running smoothly while supporting providers and ensuring patients get the best care experience possible. From pre-clinic planning to patient education and follow-up, you’ll coordinate clinic flow and serve as a trusted resource for patients and staff.

What You’ll Do:

• Guide patients from check-in to check-out, ensuring all records, authorizations, and test results are ready

• Support providers by collecting vitals, assisting with procedures, wound care, suture/staple removal, and brace/crutch fitting

• Provide home exercise protocols and patient education as directed

• Keep clinic spaces clean, stocked, and ready for use

• Collaborate with the lead Clinical Athletic Trainer on clinic operations, onboarding new staff, and ensuring compliance

• Step in as needed to answer phones, coordinate records, and support clinic team members

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Athletic Training, Kinesiology, or Exercise Science

• Licensed Athletic Trainer in Missouri (must remain current)

• BLS certification

• 2–4 years’ clinic leadership experience

• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and serve as a preceptor

Preferred:

• Experience in an Orthopedic Clinic setting
