The Role: Lead, Architecture Engineering

The Team: Join a passionate team building highly scalable cloud native data solutions supporting the S&P Capital IQ Pro platform.  S&P Capital IQ Pro provides deep industry data for Financial Institutions, Insurance, Energy, Real Estate, Metals & Mining, Healthcare, Industrials, Consumer Discretionary, and Technology, Media, and Telecoms.

Responsibilities:

• Develop highly secure and performant distributed systems
• Collaborate with product owners to form an architectural runway
• Conduct system architecture evaluations
• Update stakeholders on the status of projects
• Guide development teams by fostering DevSecOps best practices
• Research emerging technologies and propose changes to existing architecture

What We’re Looking For

Basic Qualifications:

• 8+ years working in Information Technology
• At least 3 years of experience designing, implementing, and operations of complex cloud native solutions in Amazon Web Services (AWS) (AWS Athena, AWS Glue Data Catalog, AWS Redshift, IAM, S3, Snowflake), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• 2+ years of big data processing, analytics, and reporting
• 1 year of experience with cloud security controls and compliance
• Experience developing on .Net platforms
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on multi-cloud platforms
• Experience working with Spark
• Advanced AWS certifications

Role is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States

The Location: US hybrid or remote, MT-ET zones required.

Compensation/Benefits Information (This section is only applicable to US candidates):

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $105,000 to $180,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographical location as well as experience and qualifications for the role.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
