From the European Headquarters in Ghent; where our local manufacturing, technical and Customer Service Center are based, we attend customers throughout Europe, North-Africa and the Middle East. To further support our growth, we are looking for an Account Manager for Eastern Germany region. Mission Statement This is a fantastic opportunity for an Account Manager to grow sales in Eastern Germany using Buckman’s unique technologies and customer relationship management programs. You will be able to work independently whilst will having support from your colleagues located across Europe. Expectations for the role
- Managing your accounts by focusing on positive operating profit
- Establishing business opportunities at new accounts in your region
- Ensuring the continuous supply of midterm project pipeline
- Identifying and achieving sales targets and forecasts
- Providing customers with required service and support to develop our position while delivering the budgeted profitability
- Taking proactive approach in demonstrating and selling technical competence and identifying continuous improvement projects and showing clear ROI
- Coach, train, and mentor the field representatives & technical representatives within your assigned key accounts
- Running trials and making sure trials’ evaluation plans are done
- Ensuring timely payment of invoices
- Manage inventories to a practical minimum. Coach, train, and mentor other field representatives & technical representatives when required
- Potential to lead a small team in the future as the sales grow
- Successful selling experience in Paper Technologies industry (10 Years as a minimum)
- Specific training in Paper Chemistries or Chemical Engineering is necessary (Bachelor’s degree is a must)
- Language: German and English
