Senior Data Engineer (m/f/d)

YOUR ROLE

We are looking for a seasoned Data Engineer (m/f/d) to drive the development and optimization of our proprietary equity research solutions. This position is pivotal in unifying diverse data sources to power impactful research and analysis for strategic investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, maintenance, and enhancement of internal equity research platforms.

• Architect and maintain ETL pipelines capable of processing high volumes of complex data.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including research analysts, quantitative teams, data engineers, and external data providers.

• Translate intricate business requirements into optimized, scalable code solutions.

• versee and optimize AWS and Databricks infrastructure with hands-on DevOps tasks.

YOUR PROFILE

• Advanced Python expertise with extensive experience in libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Django, and Flask.

• Demonstrated experience with data orchestration tools like Airflow and containerization with Docker.

• Proven knowledge of SQL, Snowflake, and other large-scale data warehouse solutions.

• Proficiency in AWS services and Databricks as well as foundational DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and container management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience within asset management or quantitative finance settings.

• Direct involvement in building platforms or tools tailored for equity research.

• A commitment to developing high-quality, reliable, and scalable code that adapts to evolving business needs.

• Deep understanding of financial metrics and principles of investment analysis.
