The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services team:

The Financial Reporting Process Lead will work collaboratively across the oneRTX Workstreams to design the future financial reporting processes for the company. This includes external SEC disclosures (e.g., 10-Q/K), regulatory reporting (e.g., census), and internal financial management reporting.

What You Will Do

• Work with the other Corporate and Business Unit accounting tower leads to develop and coordinate an overall approach for financial reporting and analytics processes across multiple business units, ensuring alignment and consistency in processes and practices.
• Lead the design of approach that leverages S4 HANA capabilities to enable RTX financial reporting to more standardized and efficient.
• Influence key decision-makers on critical system design choices to enable robust financial reporting, providing expert guidance to shape the Company’s overall approach.
• Engage with RTX’s system integration partner, leading system blueprint and design sessions to ensure financial reporting processes are integrated with broader systems and tools.
• Partner with RTX Business Units, Enterprise Services and Corporate Functions on development of future state process improvements.
• Travel up to 40%, or as needed.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience in finance or accounting.​
• Experience with SAP or other ERP software systems, as well as MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Experience in a role/roles working to influence others’ acceptance of new approaches and ways of working together, while remaining open to new concepts, practices, and approaches.
• Experience with the aerospace and defense industry and the R2R value stream finance functions, with a focus on accounting and financial reporting processes.
